Ocean State Oil is very proud to have Shawn as a member of our team. Shawn graduated from Franklin Pierce University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. He has been a Sales Representative for Ocean State Oil for the past 17 years, with a customer base including companies from the commercial, industrial, automotive, municipal and marine sectors.  McCarthy carries STLE (Society of Tribology & Lubrication Technology) Certified Lubrication Specialist and Oil Monitoring Analyst certifications and has been a Tribology & Lubrication Technology magazine technical editor for the past two years.  Shawn is also a board member of the STLE’s OMA Executive Committee.
