Ocean State Oil is now stocking premium Chevron and Castrol motor oils and ATF in 6 gallon boxes.  The boxes are designed to conveniently dispense motor oils and ATF via a pour spout into measured dispensing cans.  The boxes are stored and displayed on racks of various configurations.  The rack and dispensing cans are provided on loan and free of charge to customers who purchase the BAG-IN-BOX system.

 Bag in box type systems use 89% less plastic compared to quart bottles.   This a great solution for shops that service a many different makes, models and high mileage vehicles.   When asked about the biggest benefit in getting away from quart bottles, Mac Allen, owner of an Havoline Express Lube told Chevron that it’s environmental “ our customers see the rack out there in the bay and ask what we’ve got going on. We are trying to get away from quart bottles and help not contribute to landfills.  Our customers notice and appreciate it. With regard to waste, we have been able to reduce our dumpster pickups.”  One of his technicians says “ time savings is the biggest benefit for techs – the time saved from pouring and disposing of quart bottles versus the easy pour form the PitPack has been huge”

We are stocking Chevron Havoline High Mileage 5W30, 5W20 and 10W30; Havoline ProDS and Euro full synthetics 0W20, 5W20, 5W30 and 5W40; Synthetic Blend 5W30 and 5W20; Chevron Delo 400 LE 15W40 for diesel engines; and Havoline Syn ATF MV Dex VI. 

In Castrol we have Castrol Edge in 0W20, 10W30, 5W20, 5W30 and 5W40; Castrol GTX in 10W30, 10W40 and 20W50; and CastroL GTX high mileage 5W20, 5W30 and 10W30.
