The desired candidate would be responsible for selling lubricants and related petroleum products in a defined territory in the Southern New England area. The position will require daily travel in the territory, calling on existing accounts and developing new business in a wide variety of commercial accounts including: truck fleets, construction fleets, industrial plants, marine and automotive businesses.
The ideal candidate will be ambitious, personable, highly organized, possess strong oral and written communication skills, and have the ability to work independently in a business-to-business environment. They must be able to work with a customer relationship management (CRM) computer system while in the field.
A BS or BA degree in Chemistry or Marketing is desired. A strong mechanical background or knowledge of physical sciences is preferred. Experience in sales or knowledge of the petroleum industry is a plus, but is not required.
The position will offer a salary, car allowance and full benefit package including extensive company paid training to start.
